The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is once again offering a course in the Fundamentals of Fundraising. The course offers a complete overview of the development function, featuring the most current information and techniques and is designed for individuals with 0-4 years of fundraising experience. Participants will gain an understanding of many aspects of development and 16 hours of CFRE education credit.
Topics covered include an overview of fundraising, developing an integrated fundraising program, marketing for ongoing success, building and sustaining relationships, securing the gift, volunteers, and partners in fundraising and management and accountability.
Two courses will be offered in 2017. The first, offered in the spring, will be a condensed version with all modules being covered in two working days. The fall course will be a more extensive program offered over seven days in the fall.
Registration is now open for the spring Fundamentals of Fundraising course, which takes place on April 21-22, 2017. The course costs $405 for AFP members and $505 for non-AFP members.
