AFP’s Fundamentals of Fundraising

Developed by the leading fundraising authority in the not-for-profit sector, AFP’s Fundamentals of Fundraising and taught by local experts from Greater Cincinnati’s very-own 10 Star Chapter, this educational course covers core fundraising topics and principles helpful for those new to the field (0-4 years) as well as the executive management leadership level looking to sharpen their understanding of philanthropy.
The Fundamentals of Fundraising fall course begins August 24 and runs through November 29. This seven-day course covers topics including: Overview of Fundraising, Developing an Integrated Fundraising Program, Marketing for Ongoing Success, Building and Sustaining Relationships, Securing the Gift, Volunteers, Partners in Fundraising and Management and Accountability. Full participation in the AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course is applicable for 16 points of CFRE Credit in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or re-certification.
